The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has initiated the bidding process, with the Expression of Interest (EOI) going live on December 9. The proposed arena will feature a 20,000-seat capacity along with an additional standing capacity of 25,000, placing it in the same league as global landmarks such as Madison Square Garden, New York, and The O₂ Arena, London.
The venue will be equipped to host large-format concerts, cultural festivals, global sporting events, and immersive productions. With advanced acoustics, world-class technical infrastructure, and a weather-proof design, the arena promises year-round programming without the limitations of outdoor venues.
Strategically located, it will offer seamless access from the Navi Mumbai International Airport, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, and major arterial roads strengthening its appeal for domestic and international audiences, as well as touring artists and production houses.
Beyond entertainment, the project is expected to boost tourism, create jobs, and unlock significant business opportunities across hospitality, retail, logistics, and event services.
