Nithari Nightmare Unveiling the Darkness Behind Innocent Lives

Nithari village, Noida where a horrifying series of crimes unfolded in 2005–2006.

The accused: Moninder Singh Pandher, a businessman, and his servant Surinder Koli.

Many victims were children and young women from marginalised backgrounds.

The case shocked the world when human remains were discovered near Pandher’s house in Nithari.

Investigations revealed evidence of mutilation and sexual violence but many forensic questions remained.

Victims were allegedly lured under false pretenses, taken into the house, and then brutalised.

Koli was convicted in 13 cases and sentenced to death, but his legal battle continued for years. In November 2025, the Supreme Court acquitted Surinder Koli and ordered his immediate release.
