India’s largest school board is set to take a major technological leap as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) prepares to implement on-screen marking for Class 12 board exams starting in 2026.
Under this system, physical answer sheets will be scanned and evaluated digitally through a secure platform. Examiners will be able to assess scripts remotely often from their own schools—while marks are entered directly into the system, reducing manual handling and totalling errors.

- Participate in training sessions and mock “dry runs” for teachers
